Bus wash recovery and reuse sites produce an oily wastewater with significant suspended solids. The oil present in the wastewater is typically chemically emulsified and, therefore, cannot be removed using conventional gravity separation techniques.
Tubular ultrafiltration (UF) is employed for filtration of these wastewater streams because of its ability to produce consistently high-quality water from the oily wastewater. The systems require minimal operator attention and low maintenance costs.
The filtered wastewater is suitable for reuse in wash applications or for discharge to the sewer.

Dynatec Systems industry-leading tubular ultrafiltration (UF) system is used to treat a broad range of industrial wastewater by separating insoluble components from waste streams. As a cost effective and simple solution for separating insoluble components and colloidal contaminants from a waste stream, wastewater UF offers significant advantages over conventional separation. It is a useful process that does not require chemicals or much space to separate insoluble contaminants.
