MemCleen can be used for microfiltration and ultrafiltration systems. This is a very cost-effective product. The normal mix concentration is 1% in water. An alkaline membrane cleaning chemical for the removal of organic and biological contaminants.
MemCleen is a general-purpose membrane cleaner with wide-ranging capabilities. It is used in many applications for microfiltration and ultrafiltration membranes.
MemCleen’s caustic based blend is effective in removing the following from the membrane surface:
- Oils
- Solids
- Organic foulants
Dynatec recommends MemCleen be used as the initial cleaning for all membrane cleaning applications. In cases where foulants are present that MemCleen cannot remove such as silicates or scaling, Dynatec recommends the use of MemCleen followed by a more specialized membrane cleaner such as MemCleen A or MemCleen S.
