HIGH QUALITY DISCHARGE FROM MBR
Dynatec provides Membrane Bio-Reactor System for new housing development in Rockford, MI.
Dynatec Systems, Inc. has installed an MBR (Membrane Bio-Reactor) system at a new Rockford, MI, housing development. The system was started in August, 2005.
The housing development, known as Saddle Ridge, is a development of two-storey mid price-range housing, in a beautiful area of Michigan. Ultimately, 270 houses will be built. The developer, Eastbrook Homes, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, is an environmentally conscious developer, who has won many awards for environment-friendly construction.
The State of Michigan and the Federal EPA now demand high quality discharges from developments such as Saddle Ridge. The developer, having evaluated his options, decided that the out-of-basin, low energy DynaLift TM system was right for the development.
The initial system design is to treat 32,500 gallons per day, with expansion to as much as 80,000 gallons per day anticipated when the area is fully developed. The design of the DynaLift TM system will accommodate this expansion in a cost-effective manner.
The permit that was written for the project demanded the following standards:
